When is a work shift change agreed?
Distinguish a proposal, a colleague's agreement and the approval that makes an arrangement final.
Read the first situation
Two colleagues want to exchange shifts. Read the team's message to find the step that still needs to happen. Agreement between two people is not always the final step in a process.

You can propose a shift exchange if you find a colleague for whom it works.
Send a joint request to the supervisor by the previous day at the latest.
The shift changes only when the supervisor has approved the request.

Why the alternatives differ

- A colleague's agreement allows a proposal. It does not replace the supervisor's approval required in the third sentence.
- Molemmat vuorot on peruttu.
- Nothing in the message cancels either shift. This adds a consequence that the text never states.
Follow kun and the main clause. Identify the event that must happen before the main result becomes true.

Apply the same sequence reasoning to a room booking. The important condition is expressed differently.

A request and a confirmed booking are different states. Ei vielä signals that the action so far is insufficient; saatuasi supplies the event that changes the situation.
