Delete your account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open YKI Test Prep and go to the You tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap the delete button.

You are signed out and the account is removed immediately.

Delete your account on the website

1. Sign in at ykitestprep.com/account.
2. Open Delete account at the bottom of the page.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then click the delete button.

If you cannot sign in

Email ykitestprep@gmail.com from the address your account uses and ask for it to be deleted. We confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes:

• Your account, email address, name and community nickname
• All practice history: sessions, scores, XP, streaks and achievements
• Vocabulary progress, review schedules and saved mistakes
• Your community posts and replies, teacher reviews and support messages
• Push notification tokens for your devices
• Your study plan, level test result and exam date

Data saved only on your device (offline practice banks, local progress caches) is cleared by the app when you delete from within it, and is removed with the app when you uninstall.

What is kept, and for how long

• Crash reports sent to Firebase Crashlytics before deletion are held for up to 90 days, then deleted automatically. They contain a device model, OS version and app version, not your name or email.
• Contact messages you sent through the website contact form are kept for up to 2 years so we can answer follow ups, then deleted. Email us if you want them removed sooner.
